I'm a guy who loves gear and adventures. I've been an adventurer since I was knee high. I've loved nature the outdoors since I can remember. I have decades of experience testing and analyzing gear.

I know what's good, what works and how to find faults in just about any piece of gear imaginable. I am an expert cycler, camper, backpacker, hiker, kayaker, skier, hunter and fisherman.

By trade I'm a software developer with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, which comes in very handy when looking for flaws in gear. My goal is to pass down some of my knowledge, skills and experience with others so I decided to start this blog.

Please visit my sponsors by clicking the ads on my blog pages if you like my materials. The sponsors are how I pay for the site. Thanks.

One great way to help support "Your Path to Adventure" is, if you ever shop on Amazon.com, you can use our affiliate link located on the top of the page instead of going directly to Amazon.com.  Just click the Shop link at the top of the page.  You can easily bookmark this page and set it as your default browser homepage if you prefer.
