SLY as a FOX!

The red fox is the largest of the true foxes and the most abundant wild member of the Carnivora, being present across the entire Northern Hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to North Africa, North America and Eurasia. Wikipedia
Scientific nameVulpes vulpes
Conservation statusLeast Concern (Population stable)
Lifespan5 years (In the wild)
Trophic levelCarnivorous
Height14 – 20 in. (Adult, At Shoulder)
Mass4.9 – 31 lbs (Adult)

Today I had the pleasure of coming across a family of Fox pups so I took some pictures to share.  My guess is that they are only about 6 weeks old and definitely under 10 lbs.  They were pretty friendly, but I had to keep my distance and be cautious of the parents.  They seemed like they wanted to walk right up to me and play.
